Airbus A380-800 Global Airlines. REG : 9H-GLOBL. History of this aircraft : 9H-GLOBL is an Airbus A380-841 with serial number 120, originally delivered to China Southern Airlines as B-6140 on February 28, 2013. After nearly a decade of service, it was retired in November 2022 and stored at Mojave Air & Space Port. In early 2023, it was briefly registered as N123KK under Jet Midwest before being acquired by Global Airlines in January 2024. Re-registered as 9H-GLOBL and operated via Hi Fly Malta, the aircraft underwent maintenance and storage rotations through Glasgow Prestwick, Dresden, and Beja. Now fully owned by Global Airlines, 9H-GLOBL stands as the flagship of a bold new vision to revive luxury long-haul travel aboard the A380.
Aircraft status : Stored at Tarbes-Lourdes pyrénées airport (LDE) for a short storage, before a huge maintenance.
Color/paint sheme : The 9H-GLOBL have the Global airlines tail, but a white body, with just "GLOBAL" text. I think the complete livery will be done at Tarbes, after her maintenance.
